External Material
Warrior continues to use nylon and mesh on the exterior of the X4 Pro+ chest and arm protector, which provides durability while still keeping the pads comfortable. It also allows the chest protector to be breathable, preventing you from overheating while on the ice and making saves.
Internal Foams
Warrior’s ShockShield Design, X-Foam, and Hypercomp shoulder reinforcement return in the 4X Pro+ for maximum durability and protective properties. X-Foam prevents the chest from breaking down and adds an extra layer of protection when stopping pucks.
Shoulder Caps
The shoulder caps use a maximum coverage shoulder floater design with a Hypercomp shoulder reinforcement. The Hypercomp design offers a solid combination of protection and head mobility.
Adjustable Arms
The pads are equipped with easy-adjustment lace-in arms, side velcro attachments, and removable front and side chest pad extensions.
Elbow Caps
The elbows are protected with a hard, light plastic shield for max protection against puck and on-ice impact. The arms at the elbows are built with an AxyFlex+ system, which combines a Hypercomp cap with XFoam reinforcement. This creates a bridge that floats above the arm protectors and cushions puck impact above and away from the elbow. This technology isn’t new for Warrior and has been seen in previous successful models.
Back Straps
The backplate is fully adjustable with velcro and strappings, which allow you to fix the size of the floaters and overall chest height, in addition to tightening and loosening the surrounding rib protection.
